For example, the Latvian language can be associated with the domain store.lv, while the English language uses store.com, and the French language uses store.fr. This ensures a strict separation of languages and domains.

What is language-based domain separation?

By default, OpenCart allows all languages to be used across all stores. This can create duplicate content across multiple domains, which is not ideal for SEO. This module solves the issue by linking each language to a specific domain, ensuring that each domain is served in only one language. The language switch will automatically switch between domains.
